There are two ways to locate your machines. Do it yourself or hire a professional locator.

There is nothing wrong with hiring a locator service if you don't mind spending the money and servicing a location that may be shaky to begin with. Locator's get paid by location, so they can care less if 3 months down the road that location is profitable or not or changes their mind. Many locating companies will take your money and run, but there are a few reputable services out there. If your going to hire a locator service then hire one that will offer guarantees.

Doing it Yourself

Locating vending machines yourself is not as hard as it seems. First, make you a list of friends and family that own businesses and start there. Second, think of the places your friends and family work and see if they can put a word in for you.

By doing these two things you should be able to get a good start of around 15 to 20 machines.

After you get on your feet with these machines then it is time to move on to 50 locations. To make money in the vending business, you need locations. The more the better. Concentrate on getting as many locations you can in the beginning then focus on the quality of that location second by moving your machines around.

How to get to 50 to 100 vending locations.

To take your vending machine business to the next level you need to stay dedicated and work smart. The techniques listed have helped me locate machine after machine.

The double headed machine is the best vending machine to quick profitability. You can buy them for around $50 dollars and you get two machines in the deal. So, take my advice buy the double headed in the beginning.

Many vendors like the triple headed machines but I dislike them because they don’t hold as much candy or gum as the double headed machines. Meaning you’ll have to make more trips to service the machine for the same profit. They are also more expensive than the double headed machine. They cost around $100 to $125.

The good thing about them is you can offer one extra product. So, if you have to have the triple headed machine then, go for it. But I don’t believe their worth the extra cost and hassle.

Listen, Listen, Listen to what I ‘m about to tell you. The cost to start your own bulk vending business is $50.00. That’s right $50.00. That is what it is going to cost you to buy your first machines, stand, and the product to go in it.

If you want the fancy machines with all the lights and gadgets then $550 to start, but trust me you don’t need that in the beginning. Really you don’t need that kind of machine at all. The regular double headed machines are the best way to start in this business. The bottom line is they are cheap and profit just as good as the fancy machines.

Think about how many months it would take you to pay for the cost of one of those fancy machines compared to a simple double headed machine. All you need is $50 dollars and a location, simple as that.

If you want to start off fast then fork up $200 dollars and buy you four double headed machines (eight machines in all) and the product to go in them. Find four locations and you are on your way. But if you don’t have much money than just start off with one or two machines and go from there.
